About Me

I bring in more than 14 years of experience of helping HDB homeowners as well as private property home owners and the average Singaporean to deal with their various housing issues.

Being a property agent for more than a decade, I have experienced the entire spectrum of property ownership from:

  • families who upgrade to a bigger property for their growing family
  • newlywed couples buying their first matrimonial home
  • retirees downsizing to a smaller home for retirement planning
  • couples splitting up their home assets because of divorce
  • investors leveraging to expand their property portfolios
  • multi-generational families trying to stay together within the same home
  • probate and inheritance issues ranging from civil laws as well as Muslim Syariah laws
  • bankruptcy cases where owners need to sell their existing home and helping them getting their next home

The housing issues I dealt with range from the simple buy/sell transactions to complicated cases that requires approval from various government agencies.

All these has contributed to a career that is both diverse and in-depth. I am happy to say both clients and fellow agents sometimes seek me out for advice in navigating tricky housing issues.

Over the years, I learnt that managing housing transactions and paperwork was the easy part.

The more difficult part of my job is dealing and negotiating with human emotions that run the entire gamut.

What words can I say to a grieving family member, angry divorcing couple, confused retirees or frustrated investors?

That’s why my mission statement is: Clients First, Every Time.

Listening to my clients, having discussions and suggesting solutions is all part of my daily routine. This work is something that I am truly passionate about.

Getting recognition is simply just part of the process – like a report book that serves as a reminder of how much value I helped create by helping my various clients.

I say this with humility because without my clients’ trust and support in me – all this wouldn’t happen.

In 2018, I was awarded the Champion HDB Transactor – I have successfully transacted 69 HDB cases over a 12-month period.

To date, I have personally transacted more than 700 units from 2010 to 2019

  • 2015: 73 units

This job can actually be stressful – especially when dealing with difficult and complex cases which can drag on for weeks to months. One of the main reasons why I am able to be in real estate for more than 14 years is this – I take the time to unwind and de-stress by travelling.

When I am not working with clients, I will be spending my time with my family or travelling. It expands my mind and exposes myself to cultures which I might never experienced.

It puts me at a temporary and strange uncomfortable zone especially when interacting with people who live very differently from us in Singapore.

That feeling of being outside of my comfort zone – that is where new lessons and growth will happen.

I value these new experiences as it allows me to connect with my clients better.
